FLIGHT - The Background

I was trying to find an group song for my musical theatre students’ showcase. I came up with the idea to arrange “Flight” and it was a huge hit, not only with our audiences, but also with the students. It’s something we still bring up in conversation today.

A couple years later I diversified some of the harmonies in the vocal parts and came up with the idea to supplement the arrangement with strings. Here are two videos: Highlights of the finished product and the original arrangement from 2015.
